Established in 1716 in Tsurugi, a town known for its fermentation where high-quality water flows from Mt. Hakusan. MANZAIRAKU, meaning "the beginning of things," originates from the joyful dance performed in ancient times to celebrate auspicious beginnings. Our sake, imbued with wishes for prosperity, welcomes drinkers to moments of happiness and celebration.

MANZAIRAKU uses rare Hokuriku No. 12 rice, handled by only two breweries in Japan, late-planting Gohyakumangoku, Ishikawa Prefecture's original Ishikawamon and Hyakumangoku-no-shiro (Ishikawa sake No. 68), as well as Yamadanishiki from the Special A-A district of Kuchiyokawa in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture.
